Journals are about being honest, right? With friends and family and whoever reads them and most importantly, with yourself. So let's not kid ourselves. More importantly, I'm not going to kid myself. The basic truth is, even though the old guy got shot and had a heart attack, it was still funny just because Cheney was the one with the gun.

Dear school,

Thanks for being so ridiculously (that's not how you spell that, is it?) un-stressful this semester. I'm glad we've worked through this "Alice never goes to you because you really suck and pot is a whole lot more entertaining than you'll ever be" stage. Actually, in the vein of being honest with ourselves, I don't think I'll ever grow completely out of that stage, but at least we've compromised slightly.

PS - I see a bright and shiny future for us school. You and I, we'll do great things. Unless of course you get stressfull and annoying again, in which case I'm totally ditching you for drugs and alcohol and Tivo.
