So this intersession thing is pretty sweet. I think I might have to continue the tradition next year (thus actually making it a tradition). It's like the block system, except for only one class and only once a year. Perfect.
Oh, and guess what?! My sister Anna is going to graduate college ahead of Jesse by four credits! Hahahaha. I guess you have to realize this is funny because Anna is thirty and has been going so school for fucking EVER. She does have two/three* children and sometimes has had a job on top of that, but still. I'm glad she beat him to it.
*two are hers biologically (D and Matt) and Divina is April's. But really, I mean, all three are both Anna's and April's so it all works out in the end. Whatever. My family is confusing.
And speaking of graduating college and jobs and such, this is how a conversation between my mom, me and a friend of the family's, Shelly, went over break:
Mom: "Yeah, Alice is going to be a nurse! Isn't that exciting? She's going to be the only person in our entire family with...like...a real job!"
Shelly: "That's wonderful! No pressure there Alice."
Me: "Yeah thanks."
No pressure my ass. It was my choice. Whatever.
